Employee Benefits provides and administers comprehensive benefits and services for eligible employees, retirees, and their dependents including:

  • group health insurance;
  • group life insurance,
  • disability insurance;
  • flexible spending accounts,
  • deferred compensation; and
  • other ancillary/voluntary benefit programs.

Employee Benefits also coordinates the management of personnel records and the approval and processing of all personnel, compensation and benefit eligibility functions in the PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System.

It is important that your address and other contact information stay current with the County of Fresno, so that any important mailings can get to you timely.

Current employees may also update their address and phone number in PeopleSoft (Oracle), the program many employees utilize to complete their time sheets.

  • To update via PeopleSoft (Oracle), follow this pathway: Main Menu > Self Service > Personal Information > Home and Mailing Address. Be sure to enter your mailing address only in both the home and mailing address fields.

Verification of Employment

Requests for verification of employment or public service loan forgiveness may be submitted by email, phone or in-person. Verification requests will not be processed through third-party websites. Requests submitted via email are usually completed within 24 hours, but may take up to two (2) business days.
