 Below are local breastfeeding resources that offer support during a mother's feeding journey. Please contact each agency for specific questions regarding their services, as resources are constantly changing.

Tips for Breastfeeding Moms

Lactation Accommodation in California Schools

Provide reasonable accommodations to a lactating pupil on a school campus to express breast milk, breastfeed an infant child, or address other needs related to breastfeeding (Education C

A mother may breastfeed her child in any location, public or private, except the private home or residence of another (AB 157).

California Lactation Accommodation “Break Time for Nursing Moms”

Employers shall provide enough break time and a proper space for a breastfeeding mother to pump breast milk until her baby is 1 year old (AB 1025). To file a complaint or for more information, call: (559) 244-5340

 Mission: The mission of the Fresno County Breastfeeding Coalition is to empower families to successfully meet their breastfeeding/chestfeeding goals through advocacy, education, and promotion. 

 FCBC hosts an annual Breastfeeding Awareness Walk every year in August. More information on the 2024 celebration coming soon!
