The County of Fresno is pleased to announce that updated Fresno County Regional Bicycle and Recreational Trails Master Plan (Plan) now includes equestrian-hiking trail. The Plan provides the frame-work for future development of the County's bicycle and recreational trail network and makes the County eligible for local, State, and federal funding. The Plan is intended to guide and influence bikeway, pedestrian and recreational trails policies, programs, and development standards within the County of Fresno more safe, comfortable, convenient and enjoyable for all bicyclists, trail users and pedestrians. The Plan implements various policies contained in the Transportation and Circulation and Open Space and Conservation Elements of the County's General Plan adopted in 2000.
