Welcome to the County Administrative Office (Phase 2)

The County Administrative Office, under the leadership of Paul Nerland, functions as the operations arm of the Board of Supervisors to deliver the highest quality public services to Fresno County residents.

We administer the County's $4.8 billion dollar budget that funds services in public safety, law enforcement, agriculture, public works, human services, libraries and elections. The CAO takes the lead in activities to improve the quality of life in Fresno County, including economic development, capital improvements, and tourism.
