Land Use Appeals

Appeals of the Planning Commission's actions (Land Use Appeals) are filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

  • Appeals must be filed within 15 days from the date of the Planning Commission’s decision.
  • Appeals must include specific information on the reasons for the appeal.
  • A filing fee of $555.11* is due at the time an appeal is submitted. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, checks, or money orders made payable to the County of Fresno. Credit/debit card payments are not accepted.
    *effective July 1, 2026, the filing fee will increase to $571.76 for the 2026-27 Fiscal Year
  • Appeals are presented at public hearings before the Board of Supervisors.

Appeals are not accepted by e-mail or fax.
