Step 1: Go to Vital Access.
Step 2: Sign in or create an account.
Step 3: Complete the requester information and fields.
Step 4: Verify the information.
Step 5: Uploaded the necessary forms, if applicable.
Step 6: Choose your shipping method: UPS or standard regular mail.
Step 7: Standard regular mail delivery does not include tracking. The issuing organization is not liable for any certificates that are lost, stolen, or delayed in the mail. If you require a trackable delivery service, please choose the UPS option.
Step 8: Enter payment methods. A service fee charge of 3.5% will be applied.
Step 9: A confirmation page is displayed with your request number and the total expected billed amount.
Step 10: You will be directed to the ID.me page, where you can either "Sign in or Create an ID.me account."
**Note: You will be charged for any search of the files and records performed by the Fresno County Recorder’s Office (the custodian of the records) for a specific record when no certified copy is made. This fee must be paid in advance by the applicant (Section 103650) and is the same fee for the record you applied for (Section 103625). If no record is found, a “Certificate of No Public Record” will be issued to the applicant.
