Form 700s & Conflict of Interest Codes

Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700s) are public documents intended to alert public officials and members of the public of potential conflicts of interest.

Form 700s filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors office are to be completed using the eDisclosure filing system, which assists filers with accurately completing and submitting their Form 700.

Financial Interests required to be reported on Form 700s are dependent upon the disclosure category of the filer's position. To find your disclosure category, refer to your agency's Conflict of Interest (COI) Code.

Conflict of Interest (COI) Codes

 

Form 700s must be filed when assuming an office, annually thereafter, and when leaving an office.
  • Assuming Form 700s are due within 30 days of assuming office.
  • Annual Form 700s are due April 1 (or the next business day if April 1 is a holiday or on a weekend).
  • Leaving Form 700s are due within 30 days of leaving office.
  • Penalties for late filings may be $10.00 per day, up to $100.00.
