Assessment Appeals Board
The Fresno County Assessment Appeals Board (AAB) is a five-member board which sits as the local board of equalization to hear appeals of property assessments for the County of Fresno. Members are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors.
Assessment Appeals Board Meetings
Meetings of the Assessment Appeals Board are open to the public.
All regular meetings begin at 1:30 P.M. on the first Thursday of the month, except for May, June, and July. In July, meetings are on the third Monday of the Month; in May and June, no regular meetings are held.
Meetings are held in the Board Chambers located on the third floor of the Hall of Records (2281 Tulare Street, Fresno CA 93721).
The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors also serves as the Clerk of the Assessment Appeals Board. For questions regarding the assessment appeals process, please contact the Clerk via phone at (559) 600-3524, option 4, or via e-mail at ClerkBOS@fresnocountyca.gov.

The Clerk is present during all meetings of the Assessment Appeals Board. The Clerk’s station is located to the right of the dais. Please approach the Clerk’s station during the meeting for any questions or to submit timely materials.
