The mission of the General Services Department is to deliver world-class customer service to the departments of Fresno County and other associated organizations (our customers). Assisting in the research, development, and implementation of innovative ideas, our mission is to serve by providing County departments with the tools and facilities needed to accomplish their goals. By ensuring that other County departments have the necessary services to accomplish their own business missions and objectives, we ensure that the County functions smoothly. We pride ourselves by making our mission simple: to provide a positive customer experience.

Through the hard work of our four divisions: Facility Services, Fleet Services, Purchasing Services, Security, these services range from real estate leasing to facility maintenance; from security management to vehicle acquisition and fleet maintenance. We are here to develop solutions for the County’s problems.
