Government Release of Lien fee increase effective January 1, 2020

This memo serves as notification that per SB780, Local Government Omnibus Act of 2019, effective January 1, 2020 the fee for recording every release of lien, encumbrance, or notice executed by the state, or any municipality, county, city, district, or other political subdivision at the Fresno County Recorder's Office will increase to $20.00. This is done in accordance with Government Code § 27361.3.
