FRESNO COUNTY INVITES THE PUBLIC TO THE FREE FAMILY-KIDFEST EVENT ON EARTH DAY
FRESNO, CA –To recognize Earth Day, Fresno County is inviting the community to attend the Family-KidFest event on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, from 10am to 2pm at the Fresno Fairgrounds. The event and parking are free for all attendees.
Co-sponsors Caglia Environmental and the Fresno Fairgrounds are hosting the best of Fresno County including food, educational booths, prizes, and giveaways from over 60 County departments, partners, businesses, and community organizations.
The event will provide information on many services in one convenient location such as housing programs, internet accessibility, children’s programs, healthcare, and job development, among others. Attendees will also learn about long term care of the environment from San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District and recycling companies.
The event will give children fun opportunities to play in bounce houses, see some animals from the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, meet Parker, the Fresno Grizzlies mascot, and interact with some of the large vehicles that keep the County safe and clean. There will also be pet adoption opportunities.
