Drawing number 8, Cold Plane Roadway table in the bottom left of the page shows on the last line a 170,880 sf grind that is not shown on the typical cross sections (Drawings 1 & 2). Can you provide a typical cross section for this area? (RFC 27365 submitted 6/15/2021)
Refer to drawing number 2, the section referenced is located between Ashlan and Shaw Ave. The listed quantity for that road section on drawing number 8 is incorrect. There is no change to the overall bid amount. See addendum #1. Response date: 06/17/2021
Specification No. 39-3.02C
Paragraph 4 of section 39-3.02C of the specifications state to "Replace asphalt concrete in a lane before the lane is specified to be opened to traffic." Is it the intent of the county for the contractor to cold plane and pave back in the same shift? It is understood the digouts would be the same shift, but the balance of the cold plane as well? The requirement of 39-3.02C is made within the Remove Asphalt Concrete section and therefore only applies to that item. Refer to 39-3.04C(1) for requirements on Cold Planing. Response date: 06/17/2021
