There appear to be 2 sets of electrical drawings included in the plan set with an overlap in scope. Are both sets of electrical drawings valid?  (RFC 46399 submitted 3/2/2022)

Yes, both sets of drawings are valid.  The Internal Services Division sheets provide supplemental details for the Data and UPS equipment and layout and identify owner supplied/contractor installed equipment and devices. Response date: 03/07/2022

On sheet A2.2 – door ST119 & ST120 are shown as new and they are also on the door schedule. On sheet A2.4 – door ST101 and ST114 are also shown along with the above. On the door schedule notes 2 reads, " for doors shown on the plan but not listed on the door schedule, see "area 2 substation storage building" drawings." Can you please confirm under bid package 2, the contractor is responsible for door ST119 & ST120 only?  (RFC 46426 submitted 3/3/2022)

On sheet A2.6 – Detail A1 & A13 calls for "new chase". It says expansion of existing electrical room in notice to bidders, can you provide the existing layout for the electrical room so we can determine any demolition that needs to occur? (RFC 46429 submitted 3/3/2022)
 
On sheet A2.6, Details A1 & A13, the chase is incorrectly labeled as "new chase."  This is an existing chase. With the exception of removal of temporary roof joist brace, no demolition of the existing electrical room structure will be required.  This is clarified in Addendum 2. Response date: 03/16/2022
 
Can you provide location and quantity of the EV charging stations for additive bid #2?  (RFC 46430 submitted 3/3/2022)

Yes, but it will require an appointment with County Staff. Phase 1 construction is currently in progress.  Potential bidders are welcome to drive by, but access onto the site will require an appointment. Response date: 03/07/2022

Drawing E15 shows a clean agent fire suppression system to be provided by and installed by contractor. There is no specification section for this work. The electrical requirements for this system do not appear to be provided for on the electrical drawings. IT Data Center clean agent fire suppression system shall be a contractor provided design-build deferred submittal.  Contractor shall submit plans to Fresno Fire for separate permit. A copy of the permit shall be delivered to the Architect for processing with Fresno County Development Services. On sheet A2.4 detail J7 finish schedule – Since the framing is existing, can you please confirm the interior plywood walls and ceiling are also existing in existing electrical room? Is the painting of the plywood part of bid package #2?  (RFC 46452 submitted 3/4/2022)

Drawing No. A5.1; Specification No. 07 46 19 Steel Siding 

Can you please provide a manufacturer for this material. The specification is ambiguous regarding embossing, QA requirements, finishes and trim.  (RFC 46499 submitted 3/8/2022)

Wall panels are 48" wide x 24 galvanized sheet metal siding. No embossing will be required. See Addendum 2. Response date: 03/16/2022

Per specification section 00 52 13 the contract duration is 60 calendar days. Per the plans and cited General Mechanical and HVAC sections the HVAC equipment is supplied and installed by the contractor. If the equipment is not OFCI and scheduled for delivery early in the project, the lead times associated with it subsequent to approved submittals will far exceed the contract duration. We are currently seeing lead times on CRAC equipment in excess of 40 weeks. 
Please confirm the equipment is CFCI, and there is no provision already in place for the Owner to provide it according to the construction schedule.  (RFC 46512 submitted 3/9/2022)

In previously asked question (RFC 46432), it states all paving will be completed with phase1 and phase one will not be completed when phase 2 starts (RFC 46431). Will the parking pavement be performed after all parking lot conduits are installed? Should we figure on saw cutting and demo of pavement for running conduits to canopies, EV stations and at yard?  (RFC 46533 submitted 3/10/2022)

On sheet E19, it shows a 8" housekeeping pad inside the data center. On sheet A2.4 keynote 1 also mentions 8" pad, but it refers to detail N1/A5.1. Can you please clarify if we are to provide 8" pad or per the detail shown on N1/A5.1?  (RFC 46556 submitted 3/11/2022) Sheet E19 will be omitted.

Final clean for this contract will be limited to areas of work as depicted in the drawings and any additional areas utilized by the contractor for material storage, staging, etc.  This is clarified in Addendum 2. Response date: 03/17/2022

The Internal Services Department plan set single-line diagram is showing pretty much everything on this sheet as contractor provided and contractor installed. Is this correct? Some of the information on this single line diagram conflicts with the other single line diagram (sheet E1.1). For example the internal services department plans show the diesel generator as furnished and installed by contractor, which is incorrect according to sheet E1.1 single line diagram. The information on these 2 sheets contradict each other. Please advise.  (RFC 46925 submitted 4/6/2022)
