Jensen Ave Shoulder Widening from Dickenson Ave to Madera Ave

The project consists of paving 4-foot wide shoulders on each side of the existing 24-foot on Jensen Avenue from Dickenson to Madera/SR145 (5.0 miles), followed by grading an additional 4-feet to bring the shoulder width to 8 feet. The purpose of the project is to improve air quality by decreasing the amount of airborne particulate matter caused by vehicles travelling along the roadway.

The project is mostly complete and is in the construction phase with a current cost of $2,300,000.
