These paraphrased questions and associated responses are not part of the contract documents and shall have no bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of the Standard Specifications, the Standard Plans, the Special Provisions, or the Plans. Nor shall they have any bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of other publications referenced therein.

Questions without answers may be posted here to indicate that we have received them before the deadline and we intend to respond.

The Notice to Bidders says the bid opening is Thursday, March 17th. Should this be March 19th? (RFC 2517-3 submitted )

Yes, the bid opening date in the NTB will be corrected to March 19, 2026 in an upcoming addendum. Response date: 02/23/2026

 

Considering the location and quantity of polyester concrete overlay, would the County allow for hand mixing in lieu of machine mixing? (RFC 2517-4 submitted 3/5/2026)

A volumetric continuous mixer shall be used to mix and place the polyester concrete regardless of quantity. Response date: 03/06/2026
