GENERAL PLAN CONFORMITY APPLICATION filed by CLOVIS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT proposing to acquire approximately 250 acres of property for a new educational center, with related facilities, in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District. The proposed site is located on the north side of Herndon Avenue, between Del Rey and McCall Avenues, partially within the City of Clovis Sphere of Influence (Sup. Dist. 5) (APN: 150-340-16, 26).

Item 2 - VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 4209 filed by CARL HAWK proposing to allow the creation of a 2.5-acre parcel and a 16.03-acre parcel (20-acre minimum required), from an existing 18.53-acre parcel in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District. The subject parcel is located on the east side of S. Clovis Ave, 670 feet north of E. South Ave and 1,300 feet south of E. Sumner Ave and approximately 0.25 miles west of the City of Fowler. (APN: 343-040-64) (7800 S. Clovis) (Sup. Dist. 4).

Item 3 - AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 3878 and INITIAL STUDY NO. 8664 filed by JOSEPH KALPAKOFF proposing to rezone a 7.79-acre parcel from the AL-20 (Limited Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District to the M-1(c) (Light Manufacturing, Conditional) Zone District for a limited number of industrial uses as requested by the applicant, including an office building, a truck maintenance building, a fueling station, and a truck wash station. Also included in this proposal is a request to vacate a portion of Valentine Avenue which borders the site’s westerly property line. The subject parcel is located on the northeast corner of Valentine Avenue and Whitesbridge Road on the south side of State Route 180 (APN: 326-150-21) (116 N. Valentine Avenue) (Sup. Dist. 1).
