How to File for a Hearing

If you have applied for, have received, or are currently receiving benefits/services from a Fresno County administered assistance program AND you disagree with a County action or inaction, you have the right to file for a Hearing.

You may file for a hearing by:

Calling the State Hearing Division office at 1-800-743-8525 or 1-855-795-0634.

Going online to https://acms.dss.ca.gov/acms/login.request.do
Completing the back of your Notice of Action (NA BACK 9) and submitting it to Fresno County Department of Social Service by:

Uploading it online at BenefitsCal.com
Mailing it to PO Box 1912, Fresno, CA 93718-9888
Placing it in a drop box at the nearest DSS office (not all locations have a drop box)
