Additive Bid item 48 of the specs calls for a 30,000 gallon tank to be installed but page 182 of the specs references a 60,000 gallon tank. The plans call for a 30,000 gallon tank to be installed. Could you please verify the required gallon capacity of the replacement tank for this project. (RFC 2329-1 submitted 4/16/2024)

The Geotech analysis was performed assuming a larger capacity tank. County decided to decrease the size due to funding limitations. When is the project expected to start? Lead time on water tank can be an issue. (RFC 2329-2 submitted 4/16/2024)

The contract is anticipated to be awarded by June 18, 2024. Contractor will be required to finish the new pipeline to be operational within 60 working days from notice to proceed as stated in Section 8 of the special provisions. If due to circumstances outside Contractor’s control (i.e. tank lead time, snow season) the tank cannot be installed within this calendar year, then the project will be suspended until working site conditions allow for installation of the tank.
