25-05-M BPMP Scour Mitigation (Withdrawn)

This project has been withdrawn with a plan to re-advertise with revisions to the plans and specifications and to allow for a more opportune work period. We will re-advertise the project later this year with the bid opening anticipated to take place in early 2026, with a construction start date of April 2026. All current planholders will be informed when the project is re-issued.

Description

The work to be done consists, in general, of the maintenance of six (6) bridges through installing new or repairing existing scour countermeasures and conducting other maintenance activities at each location. Vegetation and trash will be removed from the channel at each location and a dead tree at Location 3 will also be removed. Vegetation and trash will be removed from the channels and twenty (20) trees will be removed at various locations as shown on the Plans and Specifications. The locations of work are as follows:

Federal Project Number: BPMP-5942 (240)

The engineer's estimate range is $3,900,000 to $4,300,000.

The DBE goal is twenty-one percent (21%).
