Item 2 - CLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3814 filed by KYLE LITTLE proposing to allow a solid waste processing facility (medical waste collection and sterilization) utilizing an existing 21,400 sq ft building with canopy on a 1.63-acre parcel located in the M-3 (c) (Heavy Industrial) District. The subject parcel is located on the north side of east Therese Avenue between south Peach and east Jefferson Avenues, approximately 1.8 miles northwest of the nearest city limits of the City of Fowler (APN: 340-330-05) (4182 E. Therese Avenue) (Sup. Dist. 4).

Item 3 - CLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3805 and INITIAL STUDY NO. 8589 filed by DERREL’S MINI STORAGE proposing to allow a personal/recreational vehicle storage facility on a 10-acre portion of a 19.55-acre parcel in the AL-20 (Limited Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District. The facility is planned to contain approximately 202,300 square foot of enclosed storage buildings, and approximately 2,543 square feet caretaker’s residence with an attached office and garage for the residents. The subject parcel is located north of E. Bullard Ave., 0.25-miles west of N. Highland Ave., contiguous to the City of Clovis city boundary to the south (APN: 553-060-34S) (Sup. Dist. 5).

Item 4 - AMENDMENT TO TEXT APPLICATION NO. 386 filed by DERREL’S MINI STORAGE proposing to Amend the Fresno County Zoning Ordinance, Article 4, Chapter 834.4.270 (B)(1) by incorporating Personal/Recreational Vehicle Storage into the AL (Limited Agriculture) Zone District for properties located within one-half mile of the adopted sphere of influence of the City of Fresno, contingent upon obtaining a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). At present, the Fresno County Zoning Ordinance permits (subject to a CUP) Personal/Recreational Vehicle Storage in the AL (Limited Agriculture) Zone District for properties within one-half mile of the adopted sphere of influence of the City of Clovis, and this request seeks to extend that allowance to include properties located within one-half mile of the adopted sphere of influence of the City of Fresno.

Item 5 - UNCLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3778, VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 4158, and INITIAL STUDY NO. 8517 filed by GURJANT SINGH KHOSA proposing to allow the operation of a special event facility and grant a Variance to allow the division of an existing 10.39-acre parcel in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District into two substandard sized parcels of 5.0-acres and 5.39-acres, with the event facility on the 5.39-acre parcel The subject parcel is located on the west side of S. Fowler Avenue, approximately 330 feet north of its intersection with E. Manning Avenue, and approximately one-half mile west of the City of Fowler (APN: 345-140-16S) (8853 S. Fowler Ave.) (Sup. Dist. 4).
