  • July 31, 2018 - Tuesday: Deadline for Ballot designation changes
  • August 10, 2018 - Friday: Candidate Statement Deadline (County Senate, and Assembly)
  • August 11 - August 15, 2018 - Wednesday: Candidacy Extension Period if Incumbent Does Not File
  • August 16, 2018 - Thursday: SOS Randomized Alphabet Drawing
  • August 30, 2018 - Thursday: SOS Certified list of Candidates
  • September 10 - October 23, 2018 - Tuesday: Statement of Write-In Candidacy Period
  • September 22, 2018: deadline for UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) mailing of ballots
  • September 25, 2018: National Voter Registration Day
  • October 3, 2018: County Voter Information Guides in mail
  • October 8, 2018: First day of vote-by-mail voting. Vote in County Clerk office at 2221 Kern Street, Fresno, CA 93721. (Post office closed).
  • October 9, 2018: Vote-by-Mail ballot packets will be in mail. If you don’t receive your ballot by October 15, 2018, call 600-VOTE.
  • October 22, 2018: Close of registration for this election.
  • October 23 through November 6, 2018: if you did not register to vote by the deadline, come in person to the County Clerk office at 2221 Kern Street, Fresno, CA
  • 93721. You can register and vote in the main office.
  • October 29, 2018, Notice of 1% Tally for the November 6, 2018 Statewide General Election(PDF, 190KB) (Spanish Version(PDF, 186KB))
  • October 30, 2018: Last day for a voter to request a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed to them.
  • Saturday, November 3, 2018: County Clerk office at 2221 Kern Street, Fresno, CA open for voting 8:30 am to noon.Tuesday, November 6, 2018: ELECTION DAY! 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
