The mission of the Floyd Farrow’s Substance Abuse Unit (SAU) in Juvenile Justice Campus (JJC) is to provide youth the opportunity to explore their personal identity; establish healthy relationships; identify risks that reduces antisocial behavior; substance and alcohol abuse; address physical, medical, mental, and spiritual well-being; and promote academic and vocational development in a safe therapeutic treatment community, where all disciplines (teachers, probation officers, JJC Staff, counselors, mentors and families) will collaboratively work together to plan and establish goals to ensure the youths success while participating in SAU and to connect the youth and their families with resources to build a system of support as they transition home upon the completion of the program.
