CalAIM Web-Based Trainings

Fresno County DBH directs all providers and staff working within the Mental Health Plan and Drug-Medi-Cal Organized Delivery Systems of care to the CalMHSA website for required web-based Documentation training videos.  CalMHSA provides a series of web-based documentation training videos on the following topics:

•  CalAIM Overview

•  Assessment

•  Access to SMHS/DHCS/DMC-ODS

•  Diagnosis/Problem List

•  Care Coordination

•  Progress Notes

•  Discharge Planning

• Screening & Transition Tools

• Coding for SMHS and DMC-ODS

All trainings will be loaded into our CalMHSA learning management system (LMS), and providers/staff can log on and take trainings with pre- and post-tests.  Since these new documentation requirements become effective July 1, 2022, providers/staff are encouraged to schedule the necessary time to view these in June 2022.  Please send your questions to DBHCompliance@fresnocountyca.gov. 
Your DBH Contract Analyst and/or the DBH Managed Care Division may also provide assistance.
