Children’s System of Care

Fresno County provides behavioral health services for children and youth ages 0–17, as well as support for their families. Services may be provided by the Department or through partner agencies.

Levels of Care

We offer different levels of care based on each child’s needs:

  • Low level – basic support and early help
  • Medium level – more support and services
  • High-level – intensive care and treatment

Provides short-term care for youth in a psychiatric crisis.

Provides more intensive services for young adults.
