Communicable Disease Investigation Program

Our CDI Program is committed to promoting good health and disease prevention in Fresno County. Infectious diseases are monitored by the Health Department’s Communicable Disease Investigation Program. We provide confidential investigations; prevention through education to Fresno County healthcare professionals and residents; and monitor the health status of our community through vital data.

BIOTERRORISM

We prepare for and respond to bioterrorism attacks and outbreaks that can impact the general public, and have action plans for specific agents that could lead to a widespread emergency.
