Fresno County Immunization Program

The program provides immunizations for children who qualify for the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) and eligible adults to protect them against vaccine-preventable diseases.

Who Can Be Seen at the Immunization Clinic

The clinic sees individuals who are eligible for the VFC and 317 programs (see below for eligibility criteria). Patients are seen Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Patients are seen by appointment, limited walk-ins are available. To be seen as a walk-in, patients are encouraged to call ahead and arrive at either 8:00am or 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. To make an appointment, please call (559) 600-3550.

For individuals with private insurance, adults with Medi-Cal, and people needing travel vaccines, please contact your provider or local pharmacy for vaccinations. For a list of locations please use our referral list.

 

Tuberculosis Skin Test Eligibility

18 years of age and under at a fee of $8.08.

Appointments are required, but limited walk-ins may be accepted. Please call the Immunization Clinic to schedule an appointment. Important: Skin tests require a return visit to the clinic 48 to 72 hours after the skin test is placed. Clinic staff will advise you when to return. If you are not able to return within this timeframe, the skin test will need to be repeated. 

 

Vaccine Eligibility

Vaccines for Children (VFC) Eligibility

18 years of age or under and one of the following: 

  •  Medi-Cal
  • Uninsured (No health insurance)
  • American Indian or Alaskan Native 

317 Eligibility

19 years of age and older and one of the following:

  • Uninsured (No health insurance)
  • Underinsured (Vaccines are not covered by insurance or requires a co-payment)

 

Private Insurance and Adults with Medi-Cal

At this time, the Immunization Clinic can see patients who qualify for the VFC or 317 programs. If you have private insurance, or if you are an adult with Medi-Cal, please see the Referral List(PDF, 227KB) for alternative service locations in the community.
